Dairy Plant Engineering
- Localisation Saint-Hyacinthe, QC
- Project cost 100M$
- Year of achievement 2015-2017
DESCRIPTION
The project consisted of delivering pre-engineering services for an industrial dairy plant.
The mandate included defining the process, from raw milk reception to packaging and shipping.
Key systems were analyzed and structured. This includes raw milk, cream and skim milk storage, HTST pasteurization, CIP systems and packaging lines.
Production flows and utility requirements were defined to ensure efficient operations and compliance with sanitary standards.
Particular attention was given to the overall plant layout. The objective was to optimize material flow, reduce operational risks and prepare for subsequent project phases.
This project stands out for its comprehensive pre-engineering approach, establishing a solid foundation for detailed design and future implementation.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Process definition and development of preliminary PFDs and P&IDs
- Layout studies and general plant layout
- Conceptual 3D modeling
- Definition of utility and infrastructure requirements
- Development of design criteria and preliminary specifications
